Happy Halloween!

He wore his costume. He stood at the foot of two driveways.  Erica brought candy to him at one.  He asked LaLa to get the candy at the next house.  Then he was done. (Mama was a hippy bride. Wedding dress and pretty shawl and sandals.  Temps in the high 60's.)

He chased Ozzy.  Ate a few bites of soup and salad.

He helped move some of this from upstairs to dining room.  

He posed for pictures and gave out hugs and kisses.  Fun evening!

A Cheese Sandwich for Grammy

Busy morning as always.   Grocery shopping early.  Bought snacks for trip next week.  Exciting stuff like rice cakes, GF pretzels, individual applesauce cups and small packets of almond butter.  Exciting.  My helper likes to push the cart, not that he can see over the handles of the cart!  

We put away groceries, started laundry, washed kitchen floor and started crock pot of soup.  Time now for some Lego play and Surprise!!!  It's time to think about making lunch for John.  

Riley is not liking to pose for pictures.  

This was my first shot.  Oh Threes!!!   He is very strong willed.  Likes to argue and tell me what to do.  He keeps me on my toes and makes me laugh!!  

He said, "OK, i will make a cheese sandwich for Grammy" 

"Grammy will like this.  Bread and coffee!!"

This was a walk last month.  A slow walk.  We stopped to look at everything!

Fall Days

Lots of pumpkin in October.  Pumpkin muffins and pumpkin tea to start the day.

A helper to wash the dishes.  He likes to use lots of soap and needs dry clothes when he is done.  He talks non- stop as he washes.

Watches uncle John finish breakfast.

Then he is off to do some grocery shopping, asking. Do you know which aisle has the donuts?  He then disagrees with what I tell him.

Tigger needs to use the seat but he is pulled out for lots of hugs.

He settles in the living room to play with the doll house.

Arranges the cars on the bench.

Decides he is too tired to put away toys.  Lots of fake sleeping with loud snoring.

All before 9 am.  Busy busy days.

Busy Rainy Thursday

Good day for yellow eool socks!

Crazy busy yesterday and today.  Finally a quiet to deal with 

Lots of pretty needles.

Counters and stitch markers.

And piles of yarn.

A couple of piles.  

No time for knitting today!

Wonderful Wednesday

We are enjoying a quiet morning at home!!   Yay!!!  We settled in the den with our tea, muffins and knitting.  We watched a little TV (Peg + Cat,  Sesame Street and Caillou). Lots of playing and knitting.  

Lots of chai tea meams LOTS of trips upstairs to go potty.  Each trip one less piece of clothing.  

It's a little chilly in the living room so we turned on the space heater.  Also warmed up one last mug of chai.  Old house + space heater + microwave = blown fuse.

He is still building and singing to a captive audience!

Lots of fall leaves outside.  Soup simmering for lunch.

Riley thinks we need a fire in the fireplace.  For now we are just pretending it is lit!
