Driving the Trash Truck

This is the view from my seat on the trash truck.  I am the driver.  Lots of "lil buddies" are along for the ride and Mr Fireman is now Mr Garbage collector.
He goes up and down collecting trash and pushing pretend buttons to make the crusher work.
He even sleeps on the truck.  He tells me I cant go home to sleep because there is too much trash.
He gets to snooze on the landing and tell me I need to "just sleep sitting up."

Now I am the doctor lady who helps drive the trash truck.  Apparently I always go past the trash pickup spots and have to go in reverse.  He lets me know if I forget to "beep". As a backup warning.

Now he is cooking me dinner on the truck.  Bacon and cheese for dinner.  He did remember to give me my toothbrush to brush my teeth after dinner.

Sock Love

Love the mismatched socks!!
He is looking at all the photos and says "Lala, remember the wedding? It was raining and I touched it.  Abby and Doug got married, oh no, Abby and Peter, yeah, I remember that!"

We are enjoying a quiet stay at home day.  Finally migraine free!!  Its been a long week (9 days?? ). Hope i didn't speak too soon.  It is bright and sunny.  We had 2 inches of snow last night so sweetie was delivered to me.  Still lots of people out of power from the ice storm last Tuesday.
We have 2 feeders we fill daily.  Lots of sparrows, cardinals, occasional blue jay and chickadees.  I saw some robins a few days ago but not today.  Blue sky, bright sun and 12 degrees at 10:30 am!!
We went out to "use the snowblower" last Tuesday (before the big ice storm).
It was a toasty 27 degrees here!
Oz watches us and meows non stop!
Here is the almost finished sweater. It now has all 7 buttons and has been washed and blocked!
Good job little snow blower.  He does not need a real snow blower, Grammy.  The stroller works just fine.  Lots of sound effects, too!

Six More Weeks

The view out my window today.  It looks like 8" and still coming down.
Sweet little boy was delivered to me by 7:30. We snuggled on the couch for a long time watching the snow.
We built a cave in the living room.
Lots of buddies are in there.
A wild beast came to check it out.

He was quickly chased away.

But he soon returned.
The king of the mountain, Ozzie, the wild beast!
Hiding from the paparazzi.
Checking his phone for messages.
The wild beast has returned!  Much chasing and throwing of socks!
These boys are too much fun.
