Entertaining Ozzard

He said"i am gonna sing a song for Ozzard."

Rocking and singing.

"Meow if you want to p,ay with me, Ozzard."

Growls very ferociously.  Ozzard is not happy to have his morning snooze interrupted.  He hisses and Riley backs away but continues to growl.

Lots of growling.

Moves on to block building.  

Summer Heat

We are in the midst of a short heat wave.  Day 2 of 90+ temps.  

We filled the big basket with local produce at Raab's Farm Stand.  Peaches (really good local crop, starting picking them in late June!!!), Gala apples, pears, squash,zucchini, watermelon, grape tomatoes.

Big bunch of fresh flowers,too.  Couldn't resist those zinnias!!!

Busy boy.  Lots of cutting.

He LOVES scissors!  He is sitting on an old tablecloth to help with cleanup.  Lots of ittybitty scraps of paper.

Drink jars with straws.  He drank every drop!  Lots of trips upstairs to go potty!

Too hot for clothes.  Kept himself busy while I cleaned the dining room. 

More juice for Caillou watching!  No sugar added cranberry and tart cherry, our currant favorite.  Watered by half with lots of ice.  

Healthy salad and fresh fruit for lunch.  Just like John! 

Ready for fall.  Flowers are not real.  Ozzy likes fresh flowers too much.  Pulls them all out and chews them.  

Not seeing any fall colors outside yet.  Displays of pumpkins, gourds and mums are out this week.  Last week we had overnight temps in the upper 40's.  last night low 70's.

Time to sit and finish more of these! 

Too Much Work

I am trying to work more hours at the shop so payroll is smaller.   It is not difficult work but still tiring.  Last weekend I spent 5 days there doing inventory.  Not fun.   Worked Thursday thru Sunday whiile Denise attended a show in Harrisburg.  Lots of yarn to put away and rather needy customers.

Today I have Sweetie Boy!!   We bought groceries with him dancing up and down the aisles and singing.  Love the quiet of early Monday morning at Giant!   Started laundry.  Drove to Tarpley to have water turned back on.  Hassle I didn't need.   Home just in time to make lunch.  Grilled cheese (fake cheese) and tomato soup and fruit.  

Found this during lunch cleanup.  He did not turn on my audiobook but pretends to listen and sing.   

Lots of dancing and jumping on the way to nap but seems to be asleep now.

Last week I had to be at the shop for an hour when I had Riley so we packed a bunch of toys.  He made a new friend and invited her to Lalas house to play with toys and eat lunch.  He is very friendly.  She was all ready to walk out the door with him,too!

Work at the shop. Work at home .  Busy days.
