Summer Heat

We are in the midst of a short heat wave.  Day 2 of 90+ temps.
We filled the big basket with local produce at Raab's Farm Stand.  Peaches (really good local crop, starting picking them in late June!!!), Gala apples, pears, squash, zucchini, watermelon, grape tomatoes.
Big bunch of fresh flowers, too.  Couldn't resist those zinnias!!!
Fresh tomatoes from Riley and Mama's garden!!
Busy boy.  Lots of cutting.
He LOVES scissors!  He is sitting on an old tablecloth to help with cleanup.  Lots of ittybitty scraps of paper.
Drink jars with straws.  He drank every drop!  Lots of trips upstairs to go potty!
Too hot for clothes.  Kept himself busy while I cleaned the dining room.
More juice for Caillou watching!  No sugar added cranberry and tart cherry, our currant favorite.  Watered by half with lots of ice.
Healthy salad and fresh fruit for lunch.  Just like John!
Ready for fall.  Flowers are not real.  Ozzy likes fresh flowers too much.  Pulls them all out and chews them.
Not seeing any fall colors outside yet.  Displays of pumpkins, gourds and mums are out this week.  Last week we had overnight temps in the upper 40's.  last night low 70's.
Time to sit and finish more of these!
